Georgia Tech!!!
Hey all, it is time to start thinking about the Georgia Tech meet! For those that have attended in the past I don't need to tell you what a fantastic event this is, you already know. For those that are new or have chosen not to attend in the past, I cannot encourage you strongly enough to attend if you can. This year our Championship session will be Friday June 27. The swimming starts at 4 so we will likely need to be there between 2 and 3 (we will get an exact warm up time later). The kids will get to swim in the Georgia Tech pool where the Olympics were competed, they get their name up on the board, the meet is live streamed and lots of very cool ribbons and medals can be earned (along with the potential for a team trophy).
The cost is $50 per swimmer (not our fee this goes to ASA) you can find me in person to pay of venmo @Eric-Logan-33. You can swim in 2 individual events of your choosing and potentially two relays as chosen by the coaches.
We will need volunteers, so please sign up for that as well, if we do not have enough we will volun-tell you :) I will also need to know if your swimmers is interested in competing for the City of Johns Creek team (JCAT) in July. I will forward more information about that when I have it but please indicate that on the form as well.
Finally I will have an informational meeting next week about Tech for those that have questions or you can email me. The deadline to sign up is June 16.
