There's nothing like a big win to kick off the season proper! I'm still waiting for Swimtopia to update (sometimes it feels like I spend my life waiting for Swimtopia to update) the the final scores, but I can say categorically that the Hammerheads sent the Crocs home with their tails between their legs! 

Thank you to all of the volunteers, parents, coaches and most importantly, the swimmers, for a great meet. Lots of effort and positive attitudes, even in the rain!

Tom, our announcer, deserves a special shout out for his incredible rendition of our national anthem. As a recent new citizen, that gave me goosebumps!

Fun Friday starts at 10am tomorrow. Come on down to the pool to collect your ribbons and find out which swimmers won the prestigious Hammerhead of the Week awards! Also, there might be donuts! 

*I do need to remind you that we don't have a lifeguard, so parents are responsible for the safety of their own children. All under 10s MUST have an adult supervising them.
