It’s game day!

We’re welcoming the Cambridge Crocs to our pool today - let’s hope for better weather this time!

Couple of quick reminders:

Please plan to arrive at the pool at 4pm. Hillbrooke swimmers will begin warmups at 4.30pm. Crocs will warm up at 5pm and the meet starts at 5.30pm.

Parents, when you arrive please go straight to the volunteer board and get your name tag and position. This is critical. Amy and I need to know who is here and who isn’t!

Timers and judges – there will be a mandatory meeting with the ASA official at 5.15pm.

Bullpen parents:

First call: get the swimmers ready.

Second call: get them to the right starting area.

Final Call: they need to be there already!

No 1^st shift volunteer should leave their position until relieved. All 2^nd shift volunteers should be at their position BEFORE the changeover – around race 40.

As this is a real meet, we will have WAY more folks on the pool deck. Please stay away from both ends of the pool, and we absolutely cannot have ANY parents or spectators around the blocks.

The weather protocol remains the same. We swim in light rain, we clear the deck for thunder and lightning. We DON’T go home!

Let’s send the Crocs back to Cambridge feeling like they’ve “rumbled it up with the Hammerhead Sharks!” (that’s a David Lee Roth lyric, for our younger parents)
