Thank you for participating in Operation Gratitude. This week we have a need for specific items so we decided to make a Sign Up Genius.

CURE is a local nonprofit that helps families who have children with cancer. We are going to collect supplies to make laundry and snack kits for families who have a child going through treatment. There is a Sign Up Genius for the specific items needed.

Laundry kits
Patient families that are in the hospital for days or weeks at a time need to do lots of laundry. CURE provides them with single-use laundry kits. Each snack-size Ziploc bag contains two pods of “free and clear” laundry detergent and two “free and clear “ dryer sheets.

Snack kits

Cure provides snack bags to families who have lengthy outpatient clinic visits. These quart-size Ziploc bags may include microwave popcorn, Chex Mix, fruit gummies, Life Savers or similar roll of hard candy/mints, and a napkin.
