We are finalizing everything on our end to make our 2023 season the best yet!  A few small notes, some new information and some reminders.

We will be starting practice on May 15, all practice times are on the website.  We will have a mandatory parent meeting on that day.  If your swimmer is 8 or younger the meeting will be at 4:45.  If your swimmer is 9 and older, the meeting will be at 5:45. It is very important that you attend at least one of these.

Volunteers - It essential that everyone understands that every family must provide a  volunteer for half of a meet every meet. This is a requirement to being on the team.  If you cannot meet this obligation, I am happy to refund the fees that you paid.  Running these meets are not easy, but if each family follow through with this obligation it takes a huge burden off of us.

Special Volunteer opportunity!!  We would like to bring back a tradition that we lost over the COVID season. Meet Day Pep Rally crafts.  If a family would like to take this on, please let me know.  Essentially during and at the end of practice on meet days organize and run some sort of Pep oriented craft on the pavilion for the swimmers.  In the past they have been provided materials to decorate their arms or backs with drawings or glitter, or they have made posters for the meet....that sort of thing.  Be creative, be fun.

Finally, it is never to early to get on the website and mark your availability for the meets.  We will talk about that at the parent meeting as well.  I will also be asking soon for a heads up from you all on which weeks your swimmers might be in camp and planning on attending afternoon practices in June, please look for that.
