Hello,

There is a year end meet at the former Olympic pool on Georgia Tech's campus that is open to all of our swimmers. Similar to last year there will only be one session for our team. Our session of the meet will occur Friday July 1 at 4 pm. While it is optional it is a fun experience for swimmers to experience a championship atmosphere and earn some extra ribbons (Did you know 28th place ribbons are orange?). Each swimmer will get to swim 2 individual events and up to 2 relay events (relays will be chosen by the coaches based on the number of swimmers). Additionally Eric sent and email earlier regarding the JCAT team for the State Meet in the middle of July.

 If you would like your swimmers to be included for a chance to participate in this meet please let us know by email. The cost of the meet is $35 per swimmer and you can indicate your interest in going to the meet on the website. The deadline for signing up and submitting payment is June 24th. Please make checks payable to Hillbrooke Swim Team and submit to Trey Hoffman or Brooke Suma by the 24th. If you are able to volunteer and would like a specific job, we can make a request (no guarantees) by the 21st. The number of volunteers needed will depend on the number of swimmers we bring. 

Finally, I know each swimmer will finish at a slightly different time but if people are interested I'd like to organize a dinner after the meet to celebrate the swimmers' performances. Previously we have had dinner at Rocky Mountain Pizza at the corner of Hemphill and 10th (located near free parking) but it looks like they are closed due to a fire so suggestions on a new location are welcome.
