Dear Johns Creek Parents,

A couple reminders as we near the ASA Championship Meet/JCAT Qualifier Meet on Thur, June 28.

HOW DOES A SWIMMER DECLARE ELIGIBILITY FOR JCAT?
Eligible swimmers who are interested in qualifying for a spot on JCAT MUST indicate their intent by placing JC6 in front of their FIRST name when submitting their entry form for the ASA League Championship Meet. This will allow staff to determine eligible swimmers on meet day. **Only times from the ASA Championship Meet on June 28 will be used to qualify swimmers for the JCAT.

Listed below are some important dates as they pertain to JCAT:

• June 22 – Friday, June 22 at 1pm is the deadline for team entries (intent to qualify – JC6) to be submitted to Atlanta Swim Association (ASA) for the League Championship Meet at GA Tech.
• June 22 – Deadline for birth certificates to be turned into the JCRPD by all swimmers that have the intent to compete in state if they qualify (if not already on file)

JCAT PRE-REGISTRATION

Important Note: We will only be “approving” pre-registration from qualified swimmers.

If your swimmer is trying to qualify for the 2018 JCAT by showing intent at the ASA Meet on June 28, then we highly recommend you pre-register for the JCAT on our online registration Catalog page. This will save you a lot of time if your swimmer qualifies when finalizing registration at the day of the qualifier meet, June 28 at GA Tech Aquatic Center.

Once you’re on the Catalog page, in the top left corner click Log In/Create Account and chose either login or create a JCRPD Account depending if you already have an online registration account with us. If you have an account with us from previous years but can't remember your password please email me to assist, do NOT create a new account!

JCAT pre-registration will be under the purple Programs tab, Youth Sports header and then divided into 10&Under and 11&Older.

Pre-registration deadline is Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

If needed, paper registration forms will be available on site at the qualifying meet for qualified swimmers.

Fees are only collected day of qualifying meet (June 28) by those swimmers who have qualified. At that time, credit card forms will be available or checks can be made out to the City of Johns Creek.

JCAT REGISTRATION FOR QUALIFIED SWIMMERS
Swimmers who qualify will be required to commit and finalize register for the JCAT on the day of the qualifying meet (June 28). At the time of registration, JCRPD must receive a program registration/release form (if not already pre-registered), a copy of the swimmer’s birth certificate (if not already on file), and payment for team fees.
