This is not something we do as a team, but if your swimmers are interested, here is the information

Dear Swim Coordinator:

The Georgia State Games Youth Swimming Championships is Saturday, June 16 at the Cherokee Aquatic Center. This is a great, fun meet that you do not want swimmers to miss. For those who may not know us, we are the Georgia Grass Roots Olympics and this event is just one of our 40+ sporting Championships conducted annually.

Wait! Before you say, I am already overloaded, we have made it VERY EASY for you. Your choice!

With the season just kicking off and the rainy weather upon us, we usually attend your weekend night meets in person but know how chaotic it is. So we are communicating with you via email to reduce this chaos.

BUT we do need you to encourage your swimmers and families to attend even if you personally are not able to attend.

As for registration, this is your choice!

Register various ways, your choice:

1. A Team Coordinator can register a whole team via Hy-Tek and then pay with one check OR
2. A Team can tell parents to register and pay individually:
   1. On our website: www.georgiagames.org OR
   2. Via a paper registration form with a check

We know it is still early in your summer swim league season but this is a great meet for all of your swimmers in so many ways: here are our top 10 reason to attend!

1. First, it is a fun meet!
2. Great medals and awards!
3. T-shirts for each swimmer!
4. Great opportunity to experience Timing Touch Pads in preparing for district and state GRPA meets!
5. Medalists qualify for our bi-annual National Games (2019 in Virginia)!
6. This is our 2018 Olympic Day Celebration!
7. No need for an official time if one does not exist
8. Multiple no effort ways to register: Individually or as a team
9. Swim others from other out of division / county teams
10. Great opportunity for everyone to do a relay!

Need to register ASAP. Deadline is June 11 at noon.
